You’re right–if press reports are accurate, then Pakistan’s government has been saying one thing in public (stop bombing us!) and another in private to U.S. officials (keep bombing suspected terrorists!). It’s useless carnage, period.

I hate to admit it but it’s not just lies, betrayals, complacency or even hypocrisy of CIA/US Govt. over drone attacks, heck, even our own Government of Pakistan has been guilty of all of above. I say, what have we achieved with this “penetration” of information, reach of media and with all other BS?
