Counter Stools. Wednesday , January 10th , 2018 - 15:44:00 PM
The height of the seat needs to be compared to the height of the counter top. If you are an average-sized person, you need about 8 inches to 10 inches between them to fit your thighs without squeezing. A 30 inch seat height and a 40 inch to 44 inch counter height allows for that.
To bend to this change, bar stool makers are now making stools that have seats of 34 inches in height. These stools allow people to sit comfortably, at the right distance from their food and drink. The stools that are 34 inches tall offer foot rails that are the right height to relax the feet.
What is a counter stool? It is a stool that goes under the counter. Simple as that. You sit on it, you eat, or do any other kind of activity and then you hop off and go do something else. The thing is, you end up using this little stool quite a bit, especially when it is used for your counter in your kitchen area. Some homes have an actual bar area outside of the kitchen in maybe a game room, or out on a patio, so comfort may not be the biggest factor especially if it is used rarely. Typically these stools will be picked based upon style, design, or just finding the cheapest ones out there. However, if you are getting stools that are going under your kitchen counter at home you might as well find some decently comfortable ones because chances are you will be using it a lot.
